SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lance L. Loveless of Carlinville, who passed away on May 7, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Lance Loveless was born March 5, 1962, in Carlinville, the son of Randall and Mary Farneti Loveless; he graduated from Carlinville High School in 1980 and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Springfield; and

WHEREAS, He was the operator and cattle feeder for Loveless Feed Lot in Carlinville; he was a third-generation operator and worked in the family business since childhood; and

WHEREAS, Lance Loveless loved the West and enjoyed snow skiing and the mountains; he was great at repairing things and had to have the biggest truck they produced; Lance was a car enthusiast and loved his horses; the most important things in his life were his family, friends and the outdoors; and

WHEREAS, Lance Loveless is survived by his fiancee, Molly O'Brien; his mother, Mary Loveless; his sister, Lisa Salinas (Enrique); his brother, Bruce Loveless (Lori); his three nieces; his two nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Lance L. Loveless; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lance L. Loveless as a symbol of our sympathy.
