AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following amounts, or so much of those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Governors State University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009:
For Personal Services........................ $25,751,200
For State Contributions to
Social Security, for Medicare................... 97,500
For Contractual Services....................... 3,238,400
For Commodities.................................. 225,500
For Equipment.................................... 775,500
For Telecommunications........................... 265,000
For Awards and Grants............................ 100,000
For Permanent Improvements....................... 309,000
For Travel ...................................... 311,600
For Operation of Automotive Equipment............. 65,000
Total $31,138,700
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
