SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $2,000,000 to the State Board of Education from the General Revenue Fund for a matching grant program for high schools to offset the costs resulting from P.A. 95-0310.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

         Section 5. The sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a matching grant program for high schools to offset the costs resulting from P.A. 95-0310.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
