SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
In addition to all other amounts appropriated for these purposes, appropriates $45,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a $0.50-per-hour wage increase for non-executive staff of private-sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to all other amounts appropriated for these purposes, the sum of $45,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a $0.50-per-hour wage increase for non-executive staff of private-sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
