SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 		













New Act










    Creates the Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund Act. Provides that the Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund shall be administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Provides that the balance in the Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund on the effective date of the Act shall be transferred to the Department of Veterans' Affairs to administer. Provides that all future revenues authorized to be deposited into the Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund shall also be administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning veterans.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the 
5
Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund Act.

    Section 5. Administration of Fund. The Illinois Veterans' 
7
Rehabilitation Fund, Comptroller Assigned Fund Number 0036, 
8
shall be administered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs. 
9
The balance in the Illinois Veterans' Rehabilitation Fund on 
10
the effective date of this Act shall be transferred to the 
11
Department of Veterans' Affairs to administer. All revenues 
12
authorized to be deposited into the Illinois Veterans' 
13
Rehabilitation Fund on or after the effective date of this Act 
14
shall also be administered by the Department of Veterans' 
15
Affairs.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
17
becoming law.
