SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $350,000 to the Juvenile Defender Resource Center for the employment of 3 attorneys, one responsible for training, and 2 other attorneys to travel the circuits to provide legal advice and to identify expert witnesses in serious felony cases and for training expenses, travel, and office expenses. Effective July 1, 2007.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $350,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Juvenile Defender Resource Center for the employment of 3 attorneys, one responsible for training, and 2 other attorneys to travel the circuits to provide legal advice and to identify expert witnesses in serious felony cases and for training expenses, travel, and office expenses.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
