| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1261 on page 1, |

| line 12, after "bond.", by inserting "If such a suit is brought |
| 4 |
| in the circuit court and, based on preliminary evidence, the |
| 5 |
| court determines that it is necessary that a temporary county |
| 6 |
| collector be appointed, then the county board may, subject to |
| 7 |
| the consent of the court, appoint an interim county collector |
| 8 |
| to serve for the duration of the suit.".
