| AN ACT concerning the military.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 |
| Section 5. The Military Property Act is amended by changing |
5 |
| Section 1 as follows:
|
6 |
| (20 ILCS 1810/1) (from Ch. 129, par. 222a)

| Sec. 1. The
The Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of |
8 |
| Illinois, is
authorized to accept conveyance of all right, |
9 |
| title and interest of the
United States in and to any real |
10 |
| property useful to the State of Illinois
for military purposes. |
11 |
| Such conveyance may be accepted subject to any one
or all of |
12 |
| the following conditions: |
13 |
| (a) that title to such property will revert to the United |
14 |
| States if and
when the property is no longer used for the |
15 |
| training of the National Guard
or other military purposes, |
16 |
| unless other use by this State is authorized by
the federal |
17 |
| government;
|
18 |
| (b) that buildings or other improvements on the property at |
19 |
| the time of
conveyance will not be disposed of without approval |
20 |
| of the federal
government;
|
21 |
| (c) that the United States may, in the event of a declared |
22 |
| war, use such
property without charge for the duration of such |
23 |
| war and six months
thereafter, except that the United States |
