AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1094

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1094, AS AMENDED,

in the introductory clause of Section 5 by replacing "and 8" 
4
with "8, and 8.1"; and

by inserting immediately below the last line of Sec. 8 of 
6
Section 5 the following:

    "(430 ILCS 65/8.1)  (from Ch. 38, par. 83-8.1)

    Sec. 8.1. Circuit Clerk to notify Department of State 
9
Police.

    (a) The Circuit Clerk shall, in the form and manner 
11
required by the
Supreme Court, notify the Department of State 
12
Police of all final dispositions
of cases for which the 
13
Department has received information reported to it under

14
Section 2.1 of the Criminal Identification Act.

    (b)  It shall be the responsibility of the Circuit Clerk to 
16
immediately notify and to subsequently provide written

documentation including but not limited to a copy of the court 
2
order to the Department of State Police, Firearm Owner's 
3
Identification (FOID) program of each individual adjudicated 
4
as a  mental defective as defined in Section 1.1.
