    AN ACT concerning government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The State Records Act is amended by changing 
5
Section 6 as follows:

    Sec. 6. The
The Secretary of State shall be the State 
8
Archivist and Records
Administrator and he shall appoint such 
9
assistants, who shall be
technically qualified and experienced 
10
in the control and management of
archival materials and in 
11
records management practices and techniques, as
are necessary 
12
to carry out his duties as State Archivist.
