| AN ACT concerning regulation.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Professional Boxing Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 7 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (225 ILCS 105/7) (from Ch. 111, par. 5007)
|

| (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2012)
|

| Sec. 7. In order to conduct a boxing contest
in this State, |
| 9 |
| a promoter shall obtain a permit issued by the
the Department
|
| 10 |
| in accordance with this Act and the rules and regulations |
| 11 |
| adopted pursuant
thereto. This permit shall authorize one or |
| 12 |
| more contests or exhibitions.
A permit issued under this Act is |
| 13 |
| not transferable. |
