SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
P.A. 94-798, Art. 56, Sec. 80
Amends Public Act 94-798. Appropriates $1,500,000 to the Department of Corrections for expenses associated with the operation of the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center, including a juvenile methamphetamine pilot program (rather than for a juvenile methamphetamine pilot program at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Denter). Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. “AN ACT concerning appropriations”, Public Act 94-798, approved May 22, 2006, is amended by changing Section 80 of Article 56 as follows:
(P.A. 94-798, Art. 56, Sec. 80)
Sec. 80. The amount of $1,500,000, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Corrections
from the General Revenue Fund for expenses associated with the operation of
the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center, including a juvenile
methamphetamine pilot program a juvenile methamphetamine pilot program
at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
