AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 108

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 108 on page 7, line

23, by inserting after "home" the following:

"unless the minor is an immediate physical danger to himself, 
5
herself, or others living in the home"; and

on page 13, by deleting line 6; and
 
7
on page 13, line 13, by inserting after the period the 
8
following:

"If the Department of Children and Family Services determines 
10
that the minor is not a neglected minor because the minor is an 
11
immediate physical danger to himself, herself, or others living 
12
in the home, then the Department shall take immediate steps to 
13
either secure the minor's immediate admission to a mental 
14
health facility, arrange for law enforcement authorities to 
15
take temporary custody of the minor as a delinquent minor, or 
16
take other appropriate action to assume protective custody in
