| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Bill Kays on his |
| 4 |
| retirement as Circuit Court Clerk in McHenry County; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was sworn in as Circuit Court Clerk on December |
| 6 |
| 1, 1978; when he began there were 22 employees, the office was |
| 7 |
| manual, and the daily work load was 4 to 6 months behind; today |
| 8 |
| there are 75 employees and over 100,000 cases were filed last |
| 9 |
| year; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Bill is famous for knowing almost all the members |
| 11 |
| of the local bar association on a first name basis; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Kay will retire at the end of November 2008; |
| 13 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| congratulate Bill Kay on his retirement and wish him the best |
| 17 |
| in his future endeavors; and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to Bill Kay as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
