| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the |

| administration, staff, and residents of the Glenview Senior |
| 5 |
| Center on the occasion of the center's 50th anniversary; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The Glenview Senior Center began operating in |
| 7 |
| 1958; the center's motto is "Wisdom, knowledge and courage are |
| 8 |
| learned from experience; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The Glenview Senior Center will celebrate the 50th |
| 10 |
| anniversary of the center and the center's Director, Joyce |
| 11 |
| Pottinger, at the Lakeview Banquet Room in Glenview from 4 to 7 |
| 12 |
| PM on September 12, 2008; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 15 |
| congratulate the administration, staff, and residents of the |
| 16 |
| Glenview Senior Center on the occasion of the center's 50th |
| 17 |
| anniversary and wish them continued success in the future; and |
| 18 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to Glenview Senior Center Director Joyce Pottinger as |

| a symbol of our respect and esteem.
