| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to honor the Quincy Notre Dame High |
| 4 |
| School Girls Basketball Team on their outstanding season; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The team from Quincy Notre Dame High School was |
| 6 |
| the outstanding girls Class 3A basketball team in the Quincy |
| 7 |
| and western Illinois area throughout the 2007-2008 girls |
| 8 |
| basketball season; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Quincy Notre Dame High School's incredible season |
| 10 |
| was one of the greatest in the history of QND girls basketball; |
| 11 |
| the team ended the season with a 32-2 record, including a |
| 12 |
| perfect regular season with a 27-0 record, which includes |
| 13 |
| victories at the CSE Tourney, Carrollton Tournament, |
| 14 |
| Jacksonville Regional Tournament, Springfield Sectional |
| 15 |
| Tournament, Jacksonville Super-Sectional, and the State |
| 16 |
| Semi-Final; the season culminated in a fourth place finish at |
| 17 |
| the Girls 3A State Tournament; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders represented their school, the |
| 19 |
| community of Quincy, and Western Illinois in an exemplary |
| 20 |
| manner, deserving of recognition; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, The members of this outstanding team include |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| congratulate the Lady Raiders Girls Basketball Team from Quincy |

| Notre Dame High School on an incredible season; and be it |
