| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Angela and Pat |

| Devaney of Champaign on the birth of their first son, Martin |
| 5 |
| Raymond Devaney; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born at 12:49 a.m. on January 28, 2008 at |
| 7 |
| Carle Hospital; he weighed 9 pounds and 9 ounces and was 22.5 |
| 8 |
| inches long; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Pat Devaney is a member of the Associated Fire |
| 10 |
| Fighters of Illinois Executive Board and Lieutenant with the |
| 11 |
| Champaign Fire Department; he is currently President of the |
| 12 |
| Champaign Firefighters Local 1260 of the International |
| 13 |
| Association of Fire Fighters; he was also elected to represent |
| 14 |
| the Central District as the legislative representative in 2004, |
| 15 |
| and serves as the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois PAC |
| 16 |
| Treasurer; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Devaney is a speech therapist at Health |
| 18 |
| Services Consultants in Champaign; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Angela and Pat Devaney have been married since |
| 20 |
| July of 1999; therefore, be it
