| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lieutenant Joseph |
| 4 |
| Duffy on the occasion of his retirement from the Roberts Park |
| 5 |
| Fire Protection District on January 3, 2008, after 33 years of |
| 6 |
| service to his community; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Lieutenant Joseph Duffy has served his community |
| 8 |
| as a firefighter and paramedic for 33 years, serving for 31 |
| 9 |
| years as a full-time member; he was one of the first full time |
| 10 |
| members of the Roberts Park Fire Protection District and was |
| 11 |
| one of the first paramedics in the Roberts Park area; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Lieutenant Joseph Duffy was the recipient of |
| 13 |
| numerous awards for exemplary service, rescues, and fire |
| 14 |
| prevention efforts; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Lieutenant Joseph Duffy's dedication to his |
| 16 |
| profession and to his community are worthy of the greatest |
| 17 |
| respect; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
