| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Fox River Grove |
| 4 |
| Police Chief Robert Polston on his retirement; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Robert Polston began his career as Police Chief in |
| 6 |
| 1981; since that time the population of the village has tripled |
| 7 |
| and the police force has more than doubled in size; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Robert Polston is a fixture in the community, |
| 9 |
| finger-printing school children and patrolling the streets of |
| 10 |
| the village; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He has seen the department move out of the |
| 12 |
| basement of the former firehouse and library to a 5,000 square |
| 13 |
| foot building in 2000; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, As Robert Polston prepares to retire after 32 |
| 15 |
| years as a police officer and chief, we wish him the best in |
| 16 |
| the future; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 |
| congratulate Robert Polston on his retirement and thank him for |
| 20 |
| his dedication to law enforcement; and be it further
