HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
  
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Barbara A.

4
Williams, principal of Williams Multiplex School in Chicago, on 
5
her
  retirement in June of 2007; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Barbara Williams began her career with Chicago 
7
Public Schools as a teacher at the Hyde Park High School; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Barbara Williams also served as assistant 
9
principal and director of the homeless education program at 
10
Williams School, becoming principal in 2003; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Barbara Williams is well known in the community as 
12
an educator and administrator, possessing both professional 
13
expertise and a personal approach; and

 

14
    WHEREAS, After 37 years of dedicated service to the public 
15
school children of Chicago, Barbara Williams will be greatly 
16
missed by the students and faculty of Williams Multiplex 
17
School; therefore, be it

 
18
    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
  
20
congratulate Barbara A. Williams on her retirement from the
