HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Pam Huske on her 25
4 years of service to St. John's Lutheran School in Elgin; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Pam Huske attended college at Elgin Community
6 College, Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois
7 University, and Xavier University; she currently teaches
8 middle school Grammar and elementary Language Arts classes at
9 St. John's; she also serves as an Early Childhood aide, a
10 middle school advisor, the school's resource teacher, and the
11 Special Education coordinator for the District; formerly, she
12 taught third grade, preschool, math courses, and cooking
13 electives; she has also worked as an aide at Hillcrest School
14 in a SCLD classroom and has substituted in the Carterville
15 school district; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Pam Huske has been actively involved in the St.
17 John's congregation for many years; she has been a member of
18 the choir and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League; she has
19 been a Ladies Aid member for over 25 years; she has also served
20 as a Sunday school and Bible study teacher, on various
21 committees and boards, and with Vacation Bible School; and
 
22     WHEREAS, Pam Huske is very active in her community; she has

1 been active with the Girl Scouts for over 50 years; she was a
2 Cub Scout leader; she is a member of the Elgin Area Historical
3 Society and serves on the board of Learning Disabilities of
4 America and Lutheran Special Education ministries; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Pam Huske and her husband of 39 years, Ken, have
6 two children, Michele and Todd; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
9 congratulate Pam Huske on her 25 years of dedicated service to
10 the students of St. John's Lutheran School; and be it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to Pam Huske as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
