| WHEREAS, Lori Lindberg has been broker/owner of American |
| 3 |
| Homes and Investments, Inc., in New Lenox since 1987; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, Lori has been active in a number of community |
| 5 |
| organizations, including serving as a former director and |
| 6 |
| officer for the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation |
| 7 |
| for Educational Excellence, as a past chair of the New Lenox |
| 8 |
| Economic Development Commission, as a member of the Silver |
| 9 |
| Cross Community Trustees, as a member of the Three Rivers Board |
| 10 |
| of Realtors, and as a director of the New Lenox Chamber of |
| 11 |
| Commerce Executive Board; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She devoted countless volunteer hours as a member |
| 13 |
| of the New Lenox Historical Society in raising funds which |
| 14 |
| served as a catalyst in the re-opening on October 22, 2006 of |
| 15 |
| Schmuhl School, a one-room schoolhouse, as a local historical |
| 16 |
| site and a lasting history for the New Lenox community; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce has acknowledged |
| 18 |
| her countless contributions to the New Lenox business community |
| 19 |
| which have resulted in the development of many commercial |
| 20 |
| projects in the area and her volunteer work by awarding her |
| 21 |
| "Citizen of the Year for 2006; therefore, be it
