Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take proceedings may be used for a period of 5 years after January 1, 2008 by the City of Country Club Hills for the acquisition of land in the I-57/I-80 Tax Increment Financing District for the purpose of building streets, roadways, or other public infrastructure. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning civil law.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding |
5 |
| Section 25-5-15 as follows: |

| (735 ILCS 30/25-5-15 new) |
7 |
| Sec. 25-5-15. Quick-take; City of Country Club Hills. |

| Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a |
9 |
| period of 5 years after January 1, 2008 by the City of Country |
10 |
| Club Hills for the acquisition of land in the I-57/I-80 Tax |
11 |
| Increment Financing District for the purpose of building |
12 |
| streets, roadways, or other public infrastructure.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
14 |
| becoming law.
