Appropriates $17,105,450 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for restoring previously eliminated domestic violence services, expanding current domestic violence services, and addressing critical need areas for domestic violence services across the State. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $17,105,450, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for restoring previously eliminated domestic violence services, expanding current domestic violence services, and addressing critical need areas for domestic violence services across the State.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
