1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5037

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5037 on page 2, by | ||||||
3 | replacing lines 7 through 13 with the following:
| ||||||
4 | " (2) "Owner" means any unit owner or owner of record of | ||||||
5 | the condominium property. | ||||||
6 | (3) "Other party in interest" means any mortgagee of | ||||||
7 | record, lien holder of record, judgment creditor, tax | ||||||
8 | purchaser, or other party of record, other than the owner, | ||||||
9 | having legal or equitable title or other interest in the | ||||||
10 | distressed condominium property or in a unit of the | ||||||
11 | property. | ||||||
12 | (4) "Municipality" means a city, village, or "; and
| ||||||
13 | on page 2, by replacing lines 21 through 24 with the following: | ||||||
14 | " and shall request the relief available under this Section. All | ||||||
15 | owners shall be named as defendants in the petition or | ||||||
16 | complaint and summons shall be issued and service shall be had | ||||||
17 | as in other civil cases. All known other parties in interest |
