| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4875

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4875 on page 4, by |

| inserting immediately below line 8 the following:

| "(b) Telecommunications carriers, commercial mobile |
| 5 |
| service providers, and providers of information services, |
| 6 |
| including, but not limited to, Internet service providers and |
| 7 |
| hosting service providers, are not liable under this Section by |
| 8 |
| virtue of the transmission, storage, or caching of electronic |
| 9 |
| communication or messages of others or by virtue of the |
| 10 |
| provisions of other related telecommunications, commercial |
| 11 |
| mobile services, or information services used by others in |
| 12 |
| violation of this Section."; and
|
| 13 |
| on page 4, line 9, by changing "(b)" to "(c)".
