Appropriates $40,000,000 from the Capital Development Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the acquisition, protection, and preservation of open space and natural lands through the Open Land Trust Program. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $40,000,000, or so much of that amount as necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the acquisition, protection, and preservation of open space and natural land through the Open Land Trust Program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
