1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4164

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4164 on page 4, by | ||||||
3 | replacing lines 4 through 15 with the following:

4 | " (f) If a special use permit is issued after the effective | ||||||
5 | date of this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly, then | ||||||
6 | that permit expires 5 years after the date on which the permit | ||||||
7 | is issued unless the project for which the permit is issued | ||||||
8 | starts and proceeds with due diligence. The county may, by | ||||||
9 | ordinance or resolution, provide for an expiration period that | ||||||
10 | is less than 5 years. The county may extend that permit for an | ||||||
11 | additional period of up to 5 years. "; and | ||||||
12 | on page 5, by replacing lines 23 through 26 with the following: | ||||||
13 | " (b) If a special use permit is issued after the effective | ||||||
14 | date of this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly, then | ||||||
15 | that permit expires 5 years after the date on which the permit | ||||||
16 | is issued unless the project for which the permit is issued |
