AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3919

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3919, by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ARTICLE 1

    Section 5.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Board of the Trustees of Governors State University to meet ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009:

Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

  For Personal Services, including payment

    to the university for personal services

    costs incurred during the fiscal year

    and salaries accrued but unpaid to academic

    personnel for personal services rendered

    during the academic year 2008-2009.......... 23,097,286

  For State Contributions to Social

    Security, for Medicare.......................... 94,900

  For Contractual Services....................... 3,050,000

  For Commodities.................................. 150,000

  For Equipment.................................... 400,000

  For Telecommunications Services.................. 100,000

  For Awards and Grants............................ 100,000

  For Permanent Improvements....................... 100,000

    Total                                         $27,092,186

    Section 10.  The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Governors State University for the Center for Law Enforcement Technology Collaboration.

ARTICLE 999

Section 999.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.”.
