AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3887

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3887, AS AMENDED, by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting the following:

    “Section 5.  The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Digital Divide Elimination Infrastructure Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for transfer into the FY 09 Budget Relief Fund.

    Section 10.  The sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the FY 09 Budget Relief Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the Illinois Rural HealthNet.

    Section 15.  The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the FY 09 Budget Relief Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for costs associated with a health information exchange initiative.

Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.”.
