SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for hiring new child welfare investigators and related staff at the Department.  Effective July 1, 2007.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The sum of $1,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for hiring new child welfare investigators and related staff at the Department.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
