Amends the Department of Agriculture Law. Requires the Department to conduct a feasibility study to determine the cost effectiveness of adding calcium nitrate to anhydrous ammonia tanks to make the ammonia worthless for methamphetamine production. The Department shall complete its study and report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly by March 1, 2008.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Department of Agriculture Law of the Civil |

| Administrative
Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |

| 205-347 as follows: |

| (20 ILCS 205/205-347 new) |

| Sec. 205-347. Ammonia; meth inhibitor study. The |
9 |
| Department shall conduct a feasibility study to determine the |
10 |
| cost effectiveness of adding calcium nitrate to anhydrous |
11 |
| ammonia tanks to make the ammonia worthless for methamphetamine |
12 |
| production. The Department shall complete its study and report |
13 |
| its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the |
14 |
| General Assembly by March 1, 2008.
