SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

In addition to any amounts previously appropriated for that purpose, appropriates $33,700,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a full 3% cost-of-doing-business increase in the topline rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Appropriates $10,000,000 to the Department for a similar increase in the rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with mental illness. Effective July 1, 2007.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. In addition to any amounts previously appropriated for that purpose, the sum of $33,700,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a full 3% cost-of-doing-business increase in the topline rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

 

    Section 10.  In addition to any amounts previously appropriated for that purpose, the sum of $10,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a full 3% cost-of-doing-business increase in the topline rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with mental illness.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
