SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $5,000,000 to the Office of the Attorney General for a grant to the Illinois Association of Court Appointed Special Advocates (Illinois CASA). Effective July 1, 2007.

$AG-CASA GRANT

 

 

 

    AN ACT making appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Attorney General for a grant to the Illinois Association of Court Appointed Special Advocates (Illinois CASA).

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
