Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act. Deletes an exclusion from the Plan for any expense or charge for acupuncture treatment unless used as an anesthetic agent for a covered surgery. Effective immediately.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 3
Adds acupuncture therapy as medically necessary and as provided by appropriately licensed professionals to the list of services for which expenses are covered under the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan.
