Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the board of trustees.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917. Provides that the original appointing authorities for the Fox River Water Reclamation District shall appoint 5 successor trustees to the board, no more than 3 of whom may be from the same political party (now, appointments are made without regard to political party). Provides that the terms of the board members currently serving shall expire when the successor trustees are appointed and qualified. Sets forth the terms of the successor trustees.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 3
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917. Provides that the original appointing authorities for the Fox River Water Reclamation District shall appoint 5 successor trustees to the board. Provides that the terms of the board members currently serving shall expire when the successor trustees are appointed and qualified. Sets forth the terms of the successor trustees and the requirements for the political party affiliation of the successor trustees. Effective immediately.
