Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Act of 1985. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning qualifications for licensure as a cosmetologist by a barber school graduate.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
225 ILCS 410/3-3
Adds reference to:
210 ILCS 55/2.11

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Licensing Act. In provisions concerning the definition of "home nursing agency", provides that such an agency provides home health aide (as well as skilled nursing) services. Provides that home health aide services are provided under the direction of a licensed nurse. Provides that a home nursing agency does not require (instead of qualify for) licensure as a home health agency. Effective immediately.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Provides that home health aide services are provided under the direction of a registered professional nurse or Advanced Practice nurse (instead of under the direction of a licensed nurse).
