Amends the Public Officer Simultaneous Tenure Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the purpose of the Act.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	50 ILCS 110/1

	Adds reference to:
	65 ILCS 5/1-2-1	from Ch. 24, par. 1-2-1

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a municipal attorney may retain attorneys and private collection agents for the purpose of collecting delinquent fines. Provides that any fees or costs incurred by the municipality with respect to attorneys or private collection agents retained by the municipal attorney for the purpose of collecting fines shall be charged to the offender.
