Synopsis As Introduced
Appropriates the sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for costs associated with the Children's Environmental Health Officer Act. Effective July 1, 2008.

House Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Appropriates the sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for costs associated with the Children's Environmental Health Officer Act. Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs associated with the creation of a State Health Policy Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago for the purpose of developing and implementing evidence-based policies to improve the health and healthcare of the people of Illinois. Effective July 1, 2008.
