Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Natural Resources (Conservation) Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois, the Fish and Aquatic Life Code, and the Wildlife Code to allow members of the United States Armed Forces, the Illinois National Guard, and the Reserves of the United States Armed Forces returning from service abroad to camp and hunt without paying fees if the qualifying person applies for a pass at the Department office in Springfield "after" (rather than "within 2 years of") returning from service abroad. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with changes. Provides that no camping, fishing, and hunting fees shall be charged to servicemen and servicewomen returning from service abroad or mobilization for as long as they maintain Illinois residency (instead of the amount of time they spent in service abroad or mobilized). Effective immediately.
