Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Lake Management Program Act. Creates the Task Force on the Conservation and Quality of the Great Lakes for the protection of the water quality and supply of the Great Lakes. Sets forth the membership, powers, and duties of the Task Force. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Adds the Executive Director of the Illinois International Port District as a member of the Task Force. Provides that one member of the Task Force must be a representative of a national alliance organized for the purpose of protecting and preserving the Great Lakes (instead of a representative of the Alliance for Great Lakes).

House Amendment No. 2
Adds the Mayor of the City of Chicago as a member of the Task Force.
