Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law and the State Police Act. Transfers the CMS police and security force to the State Police as provided in Executive Order 2004-4. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Provides that there is no rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.

 Fiscal Note, House Amendment No. 1 (Illinois State Police)
 HB 4779 (H-AM 1) will have no fiscal impact to the Illinois State Police.
