Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Lottery Law. Provides that, beginning on the effective date of the amendatory Act, there may be only one special purpose lottery game offered for sale at a time, and no special purpose lottery game may be offered for sale for more than 3 consecutive months. Provides that all special purpose lottery games shall be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they were authorized. Defines "special purpose lottery game". Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Provides that there is no rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.
