Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Gasoline Receptacle Labeling Act. Makes it unlawful for a minor under the age of 14 to dispense flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, from any portable container, whether plastic or metal, unless the minor is supervised by an adult. Requires a manufacturer to affix a permanent warning label on each portable container used for dispensing flammable or combustible liquids. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Provides that it is unlawful for a minor under the age of 12 to dispense flammable liquids, such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel (instead of just gasoline), from any portable container, unless the minor is supervised by an adult. Provides that the sign on the container shall have three-sixteenths inch letters (instead of one-half inch letters).

 Fiscal Note (Office of the State Fire Marshal)
 HB 3658 imposes no additional fiscal burden on the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
