Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that no appropriations from the Road Fund may be made to the Secretary of State, any State agency, or the Court of Claims in FY08 or thereafter. Provides that no further transfers may be made from the Road Fund or the State Construction Account Fund to the General Revenue Fund. Effective immediately.

	Fiscal Note (Government Forecasting & Accountability)
	HB 3628 would exclude the Road Fund and State Construction Fund from chargebacks effective immediately. It would also limit appropriations from the Road Fund to go only to the Department of Transportation and State Police. Any previous appropriations from the Road Fund to other State agencies shall be made from the General Revenue Fund.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes the changes that would have prohibited appropriations from the Road Fund to the Secretary of State.
