Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
735 ILCS 30/1-1-1
Adds reference to:
735 ILCS 30/25-7-103.150 new

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take proceedings may be used for one year by the City of Champaign, the Village of Savoy, and the County of Champaign for the purpose of road construction right of way, permanent easements, and temporary easements. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
735 ILCS 30/25-7-103.150 new
Adds reference to:
735 ILCS 30/Art. 25, Pt. 5 heading

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Makes a technical change in a heading concerning quick-take powers.

735 ILCS 30/25-5-15 new

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Grants quick-take eminent domain powers for a period of one year to the City of Champaign for drainage and improvements related to the Boneyard Creek Project. Effective immediately.
