Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the earned income tax credit.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Promotion Act. Increases the amounts of certain transfers from the General Revenue Fund to the Tourism Promotion Fund. Amends the Hotel Operators' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that, each month, of the net revenue realized from the Hotel Operators' Occupation Tax Act during the preceding month: the amount equal to 12% (now, 8%) must be deposited into the Local Tourism Fund; the amount equal to 6% (now, 4.5%) must be deposited into the International Tourism Fund; and the amount equal to 1% must be deposited in the Local Planning Fund. Provides that 12% (now, 8%) of the net revenue realized from any tax imposed under provisions of the Chicago World's Fair-1992 Authority Act during the preceding month shall be deposited in the Local Tourism Fund. Effective immediately.
