Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Open Meetings Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
5 ILCS 120/1.02
Adds reference to:
5 ILCS 440/1from Ch. 1, par. 3201

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Time Standardization Act. Provides that the State shall switch to and from Daylight Saving Time on the second Sunday in March (now, the last Sunday in April) and the first Sunday in November (now, the last Sunday in October), respectively. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 2
Further amends the Time Standardization Act. Provides that, if the dates set forth under Illinois law for the beginning and ending of daylight saving time differ from the dates set forth under the federal Uniform Time Act of 1966, then the dates set forth under the federal law control and apply in Illinois.
