Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Municipal Code. Provides that the terms of elected municipal officers shall commence at the first regular or special meeting of the corporate authorities after receipt of the election results from the county clerk (instead of during the month of May following the proclamation of the results). Effective immediately.

	Adds reference to:
	5 ILCS 120/1.02	from Ch. 102, par. 41.02

Amends the Open Meetings Act. Provides that, for a 5-member public body, a "meeting" is a gathering of a quorum for the purpose of discussing public business, and 3 members constitute a quorum.
