Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Alternate Fuels Act. Provides that, beginning July 1, 2007 and through June 30, 2012, the Secretary of State must notify each owner of a licensed motor vehicle that many motor vehicles are capable of using E85 blended fuel. Sets forth requirements for this notice. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the substantive provisions of the bill with changes. Provides that, beginning July 1, 2008 and through June 30, 2012, the Secretary of State must notify each owner of a licensed motor vehicle that many motor vehicles are capable of using E85 blended fuel. Sets forth requirements for the notice. Effective immediately.

House Amendment No. 2
Provides that the notice to consumers required by the Act must be included on (instead of "with") the motor vehicle sticker renewal form.
